The public works personnel have made great strides in making many improvements in Spross Park.
The park now includes new sidewalks and pedestrian bridges which are wheel chair accessible, and the new parking area for the community and visitors which also has Handicap/Van Accessible parking. Residents and visitors now can enjoy a solid path leading from the parking lot to the pavilion and play equipment in the park.
In addition to the structural work for improved access in the park, enhancements of the landscape have been made as well, and will continue in the future. Our goal is to bring out the sheer beauty in Spross Park and have future recreation activities for our children and adults. The City parks is an integral component of our community providing numerous recreation opportunities that help to improve the quality of life for us all.
