We love to explore here. Their programs for kids are so fun and informative. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They always have a large array of events for all ages. I just wish they shared events on social media.

Runge Nature Center is a very good place to visit for both children and adults. They have indoor exhibits, some are live and some are stuffed animals, and programs year-round. They have outdoor programs for all ages, from infants to elderly, and people of all skill and ability. They have a small indoor theater for screening wildlife documentaries. The agents and volunteers on staff are friendly and helpful. They are excited and passionate about nature. The Rings has a small gift shop. It also boasts a small nature reference library. They also have an abundance of free literature for anyone interested in learning about specific animal species.

Great place for people of all ages. The outside walking trails are mostly paved, and one is wheelchair accessible. They offer all difficulty levels for walking. Inside, they have informational displays, small animals, large fish tank, and a play area for children. There is a small shop and library as well. Saturday's they have themed events for kids with crafts and activities. Lots of fun to be had here!
