Neat place, but left a little to be desired. I thought when it said this was a restored castle it would have been full of antique furniture etc. That was not the case. We went on the ghost tour and I found the evidence to be really lacking too.
This tour is definitely not for anyone who can't do stairs. I read some other reviews saying you could see the downstairs if not able to go upstairs, but the tour didn't really go through much of the downstairs. I'd skip it if you have anyone elderly with you who can't do stairs or walk long distances.
The rooms they showed us seemed even less haunted by the remnants of other things the castle tried to be. There were leftover exhibits like a medieval kitchen scene in the basement, giant rock monster, giant toy blocks that just really made it hokey and seem not cared about and leftover from some other gimmick they once tried.
Video really needs to be redone in the beginning and the tour guides really need to be microphoned. It was very hard to hear anything being said.
We did like doing blackouts and going in the service tunnel. That was the scariest part!
