Missouri Botanical Garden
4344 Shaw Boulevard

Immerse yourself among festive installations of poinsettias and other seasonal favorites presented alongside the newly planted permanent displays of Mediterranean species throughout the Emerson Conservatory.

The Victorian era 1837–1901 was a time of extraordinary scientific exploration and discovery. Scientists such as Charles Darwin, Joseph Dalton H o o k e r, and Asa Gray captivated society with their discoveries. Nature became an obsession with Victorian society, and people looked for any way to bring a piece of nature into their homes.

This year’s Holiday Flower and Train Show explores this Victorian love of nature. We welcome you to explore the miniature villages, get lost in the ferns, and step back in time.

Please note that due to downtime required to power train engines, trains are currently operating from 10 a.m.—2 p.m., as well as during Garden Glow.

Included with daytime Garden admission and evening Garden Glow admission. The Garden closes at noon on November 23 and is closed all day on December 25.
