History:
Just days after their March 1986 wedding, Wayne and Ann began planting Christmas trees on 40 acres outside Boonville, MO. One year later their first daughter, Amanda Starr, was born, and Starr Pines was named in her honor.
On Thanksgiving Day of 1990, three days after the birth of their second daughter Dixie Starr, Ann and Wayne opened Starr Pines to the public.
Today, Starr Pines is a 200-acre Christmas tree plantation where folks can choose and cut the perfect Christmas tree, warm up with free hot cider, and enjoy a unique craft and antique shop.
At Starr Pines Christmas Tree Farm, you can take a hay ride through our picturesque, manicured fields and select your own tree from thousands of beautiful Scotch Pines. Scotch Pines are $5.00 per foot, Norway Spruce are $10.00 per foot. Saws provided to cut your own trees.
