I went on the ultimate excursion and it is well worth it! The animals are all so cute and you can tell they love the zookeepers and everyone working with them. The 1 on 1 meet and greets were fantastic, the sloths are great and the lemurs are hilarious. I especially loved the drive through feeding experience. I am more than happy to give my money to a place that not only is family owned, but treats their animals right and actually rescues most of the ones that are there. I recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about visiting!

I loved it here. Price was a little steep I thought but overall it was definitely a great experience. My wife and I were driving through Eagle Rock and passed one of their signs. We thought it would be a great spur of the moment date so we pulled in. There were quite a few animals to see and feed. And we were able to get some wonderful pictures through it too. If you take your time you can spend easily an hour and a half or so here.

Awesome! Had a Emu try to get into our car! Fallow deer will put their heads in your vehicle. Just a great experience!

I took my children to the Promised Land Zoo in Eagle Rock in March 2018. Almost immediately after arrival, my son (age 11) asked a male employee what the large snakes eat. He informed my son that they eat the rabbits and guinea pigs that are also on display in the building! My son was very upset with this news. We almost left at that point, but decided to stay to hopefully see some other animals to cheer him up. We enjoyed the drive through portion. My advice to the Promised Land Zoo: 1. Feed the snakes something else OR 2. Don't tell the children.

The animals are very active. I loved the petting zoo. All of the animals are well taken care of and have big habitats.
