Hollywood Wax Museum
Hollywood Wax Museum has been the most photographed landmarks in the area since it opened in 1996 with its own Hollywood version of Mt. Rushmore, including the sculpted faces of John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Charlie Chaplin. Once you step inside, you'll experience a backstage tour of the most famous screen scenes from movies and television and have the chance to step right into the spotlight with the stars. Some of the fun photo opportunities include getting inside Jeannie's bottle, sitting on the bus bench with Forrest Gump, beaming onto the Starship Enterprise, wrestling with Nacho Libre, firing Donald Trump, trying your karate moves with Charlie's Angels and marrying Johnny Depp.
The Wax Museum itself was cool but very pricey. I liked the props for photos though! I definitely recommend buying the 4-in-1 package because that’s more worth your money. With that package, you get the wax museum, mini-golf, Castle of Chaos, and a mirror maze. The mini-golf is a pretty fun course and the Castle of Chaos was awesome! Hannah’s Mirror Maze was cool as well. Great attraction for all ages.

I can’t say enough about the people who work at Hollywood Wax Museum. They are awesome, accommodating and very kind. In the chaos of our vacation (we have four young kids) we lost our tickets but they helped us look up the purchase. What a blessing! We enjoyed the attraction too! The wax figures are very lifelike and we ended up with tons of great pictures.

This was definitely a great experience for a great price, plus we were able to use a coupon and got a couple dollars of each ticket. I also appreciate how they kept the scary exhibit separate from everything else. Very smart! I hope to be able to come back again.
It's better than it used to be, but it's much ado about nothing really. Certainly not worth $23 to see. Some of their wax figures are excellent while others look thrown together and anorexic. Some are very lifelike while others bear no resemblance whatsoever to the person portrayed. Maybe they're trying to conserve wax or something but some of these need a lot more meat on their imaginary bones. Lucille Ball is a big disappointment. I didn't take pics of the bad ones but I'll share the realistic figures. I really don't recommend Hollywood Wax Museum simply because it is way overpriced for what you see, but you can take pics with a few lifelike figures if you have someone along to snap the pics.
Well worth the visit. They have 3 other things to do here besides the wax museum. We had a blast. The maze of mirrors was a lot of fun for the whole family. A few bumps on the head from kids moving too fast but nothing serious but we all got a few laughs. I would go again!!
